My name is Richard Joy of The Buyer Brokerage and I have over 15 years experience in the Real Estate industry, throughout Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.  Along with The Buyer Brokerage, I have all the tools that traditional agents have, plus some very unique advantages which make us stand head and shoulders above the competition.

* We do not charge a fee for our service, it is FREE.  The Listing Broker pays The Buyer Brokerage a co-op fee at settlement for bringing our Purchaser to the property.

* The Buyer Brokerage provides a service that only represents Home Buyers. We do not list homes for sale, which allows you, the Client to control the decisions and we handle the details.  If you need to sell your home, we are there to help you choose the right company and the right agent, to help you through the process.

* I know how to buy homes in the right locations and the right price and have been doing it exclusively for over a decade. My experience gives me the edge of what to look for to help us win the contract. As an example, is there a divorce involved? Job transfer? Possible foreclosure or short sale? These items give us more leverage when negotiating.

* My ultimate goal has always been to get my clients the best house at the best price and under the best terms possible.

* We are with you all the way. From our first meeting and viewing houses to home inspections, termite inspections, repairs, financing and on to settlement, I am leading the way.
